About me
Hi, I'm Dave. I come from Wrexham, a small market town in the North East of Wales, and live in Leeds.
I call myself a "Web Application Developer" because I like to sound fancy.
What I actually do, and have done since 2004, is create websites using mainly C# these days.
I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my work and have a real passion for creating the best websites I can,
which includes everything from the technical architecture and back-end code all the way through to web standards and
accessibility on the front-end.
I currently work as a senior developer for online travel specialists
Zolv.com
an innovative software design company doing what we like to call
"delivering clever stuff".
My role at Zolv encompasses many things including gathering requirements from
clients, writing specifications, designing/architecturing (that's not a real
word is it?) systems and the all important actual building of websites.
Before Zolv I worked as a senior web developer for the award winning Sense Internet - where I did much the same king of thing as well as leading a team of other developers.
Even further back I worked at another web agency in the Leeds area called NetConstruct.
